Victoria Leeds adds to destination experience with five new retail brands

Victoria Leeds has strengthened its position as an “unrivalled destination” to shop both luxury and everyday quality with the addition of five new retailers.

Where contemporary meets traditional, Victoria Leeds is leading the way in new shopping trends with a progressive approach to retail and its new announcements; home-grown, UK independents meet in-demand fashion and lifestyle brands, as well as avantgarde concept stores.

Retail innovator, SOOK, opening this week in Victoria Gate, seeks to revolutionise high streets with its digitally connected space that is regularly transformed to showcase a variety of retailers, creators, and service providers.

From fashion designers and yoga, to beauty lounge and tech launch, visitors can expect a “carousel” of products, events and experiences.

The newly opened North Home is exclusive to Victoria Leeds and introduces the city’s shoppers to Japandi design, a combination of Japanese and Scandinavian styles.

The creation of owner Kamil Wangin, North Home handpicks “timeless, ethical, and sustainable” pieces rejecting throw-away culture. The concept store boasts a selection of tableware, furniture, and accessories.

Also new is Yorkshire-native Carl Stuart. With stores in Huddersfield, Ossett, and now Leeds, this Yorkshire-grown tailors is steeped in over 50 years of history. Carl Stuart is now an internationally recognised bespoke tailors catering for high-end clients including the British Royal Family.

Jewellery and body art brand, Astrid and Miyu, has brought its first pink boutique outside of London to Victoria Quarter following success in New York. The elegant store stocks a beautiful range of jewellery including their signature stacks and bespoke welded bracelets. The brand also offers engraving, tattooing and piercing services.

Returning to King Edward Street, Liam Gallagher’s Pretty Green is set to re-open this month. Back by popular demand, the brand reflects the interconnected relationship of music, culture and style with its unique menswear collection. From Manchester to Leeds, Pretty Green is set to take both the city’s music and fashion community by storm.

Commenting on the new arrivals, Jo Coburn, senior general manager at Victoria Leeds, said: “We are really excited to welcome such an array of unique and distinct retailers to Victoria Leeds. Each of our new additions truly reflects the progressive ethos of our destination and recognises the demand for quality products and experiences in Leeds.”
