Alt Labs levels up innovation team with new appointment
Teesside-based digital innovation studio, Alt Labs, is going from strength to strength as they appoint their second Innovation Lead to the team in just three months, coinciding with the launch of their next national project.
Matthew Lewis has been welcomed to the Alt Labs team, bringing with him a rich knowledge of transport and start-up transformation, having previously trained with a national rail operator. His role will include nurturing innovation on programmes such as Labs by Transport for Wales and Future Labs 3.0 for London North Eastern Railway.
Innovation Lead, Matthew Lewis, said: “Having worked alongside the team at Alt Labs as innovation partners for the last 12 months, I’m hugely grateful and excited for the opportunity to join their ranks and be involved in such a positive and forward-thinking organisation.
“I’m a proponent of learning and feel I’ll have great opportunities to learn from the in-house expertise. I very much hope to add my own knowledge and experience to the pot, work in a fantastic, collaborative environment and go forward; driving innovation both for the business and our clients alike.”
CEO of Alt Labs, Imran Anwar, said: “We are happy to welcome Matt to the team, strengthening our highly experienced innovation team. He will hit the ground running with several of our long-term projects, and play a key role in our future growth.
“Matt’s appointment comes at the same time as we prepare to launch Flok, Teesside’s biggest co-working space. The new workspace will be a place for tech companies and start-ups across Teesside to grow and develop, thriving in a state-of-the-art, custom-built workspace.”
