Yorkshire Business Scoops Logistics UK Van Award

Yorkshire-based van security and compliance specialist, HH Driveright, is celebrating becoming a winner at the prestigious Logistics UK Van Awards.

The Garforth-headquartered company was presented with the ‘Keeping Your Show on the Road’ award, sponsored by the AA, at a ceremony held at the Hyatt Regency in Birmingham.

This award was for a business that forearms drivers and operators with the knowledge to prepare for a wide number of eventualities that could affect their operations on the road.

HH Driveright was also shortlisted for the ‘Using Technology for Good’ award, thanks to being an innovative business, deploying technology to allow van operators to overcome key challenges, ranging from environmental to theft.

Having won this Logistics UK Van award, HH Driveright has now made the shortlist for the Van Operator of the Year award, which will be presented at the Logistics UK Logistics Awards, on December 8, at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, London.

The Logistics UK Van Awards recognise the ‘best of the best’ and celebrate the van and light commercial vehicle (LCV) operators which have made a significant contribution to the industry throughout the past 12 months.

HH Driveright has continually devised effective technological solutions that help van operators keep drivers, vehicles, goods, other road users and the public safe, whilst safeguarding against threats such as theft. Its portfolio of solutions includes the GM 2020 device, the HH Driveright App and advanced AI-based Damage Capture technology.

HH Driveright has spearheaded the drive to keep van fleet operators compliant with all that the law requires of them, developing easy-to-use solutions within which technology does the hard work and directs the end-user down compliant pathways.

Speaking about the company’s success, managing director, Rebecca Hall, says, “Myself and my husband James are delighted to gain this recognition for our contribution to vehicle security and compliance within the van sector.

“The awards are a reward for all the hard work that the entire HH Driveright team has put into the business and for the dedication all have shown to making the van sector a more safe and secure one in which to operate.

“Hopefully, we can use the success as a platform from which to raise more awareness of HH Driveright and its advanced and relevant security and compliance solutions.”
