Birmingham property agent expands team following “hugely successful” first six months

Following a successful first six months, the Birmingham office of property consultancy Innes England has initiated a recruitment drive to keep up with its growing business demands, having already exceeded its year one targets.

The Birmingham office’s success is built on having completed more than 70 valuations for more than 30 different clients, around two thirds of which were new to the business. As part of the integrated service, the building surveying team has secured project monitoring roles for lenders on redevelopment projects.

Furthermore, the Birmingham office has also been acting as a base for Innes England’s other offices across the Midlands as multiple retail, industrial, and office space deals have been completed.

This includes a 17,075sq ft former Land Rover dealership in Stourbridge, a 15,222 sq ft former car showroom in Stoke-on-Trent, and Innes England has also handled the release of a “crucial” building in Dudley’s town centre to allow the council to progress the regeneration of the bus station into a multi-million-pound transport hub.

The growing activity means Innes England is expanding its Birmingham team “sooner than planned”. New recruits will support director Adam Rock, who heads up the office, and has been the only dedicated team member based in Birmingham since its launch in February this year.

Adam Rock commented: “When I joined Innes England, a big part of its appeal was the focus on collaboration and support from across the company. For me, it was a breath of fresh air and it’s the ethos that has also been driving my venture in Birmingham forward.

“While Innes England is great at celebrating individual successes, we believe it’s the team effort that sets us apart and sets us up to succeed for our clients.

“In that respect, I’m immensely proud of the progress we’ve made in the past six months. We’ve dug out for ourselves a presence in the West Midlands that is undeniable and the drive we’ve now begun to expand our team further should be seen as a show of strength and a message to the industry that we don’t intend to slow our growth any time soon.

“We’re looking to develop our Birmingham office further and looking to attract those with the right mindset and offer the opportunity to be a crucial part of a small office’s rapid growth in a market that’s rife with potential.”
