Begbies Traynor’s growing Teesside team moves to more modern offices in Stockton
Business rescue and recovery specialist Begbies Traynor is continuing to expand its presence in Teesside, moving from its base in Thornaby to more modern offices in Stockton-on-Tees as another three new recruits join the team.
The firm has signed a lease for an office suite at LevelQ Teesside which features open plan work space as well as private meeting rooms. Located at Surtees Business Park, just off the A66, the state-of-the-art facilities include a gym, café and cinema room as well as ample parking.
“We remain committed to having an on-the-ground presence in Teesside and, having been in our former offices in Thornaby for six years, we were ready for a change,” explains Ian Royle, insolvency director and licensed insolvency practitioner for Begbies Traynor in Teesside. “LevelQ offers something a bit different, it’s a much newer building with great facilities which both our colleagues and clients will be able to enjoy. We’re pleased to have moved to such prestigious premises and to be working alongside other professional services firms and local businesses in the building.”
In addition to the recent recruitment of Mike Sharp as an insolvency consultant, another three recruits have joined the Teesside team to support Stephanie Breckon who has recently been promoted to assistant insolvency manager. Jessica Barton of Darlington takes on the role of insolvency administrator, while Isobel Moore of Nunthorpe and Joe Searby of Ingleby Barwick become trainee insolvency administrators.
“We are incredibly busy at the moment supporting businesses in the region as they continue to recover post-covid as well as coping with the challenges of the cost of living crisis,” continues Ian. “We’re pleased to welcome Jessica, Isobel and Joe who will further boost the team. It’s exciting to be bringing young talent into the profession and we look forward to helping them develop their careers with us.”
