Rotherham based construction company builds the way for sporting clubs in Sheffield
Rotherham based construction company SL2 Ltd, have been working with local sports venues and clubs across Sheffield in recent months, project managing the refurbishment, and building from scratch, of club houses and buildings that support the local sporting community.
Throughout 2022 they have completed a fully new build construction for Millhouses Works Cricket Club and have started work on another new build cricket pavilion but this time for Norton Woodseats Cricket Club.
Steven Loxley, Director at SL2, comments: “Working on any new construction project is always exciting for us at SL2. Whether it is bringing an old building back to life, like that at Abbeydale Sports Club, or starting a brand-new construction project from scratch like we have done for Millhouses Works Cricket Club and Norton Woodseats Cricket Club.
“Our work takes us all over the UK, but it is always pleasant to be able to work on something closer to home that will have a positive impact on the community.”
Scott Lee, director at SL2 adds: “These projects we have been working on have been delivered in pride and in partnership, in particular at Millhouses Works Cricket club, as it took many years for the planning permissions for this new build project to be signed off.
“Looking at the finished building, it reminds us of how closely we collaborated with our customer over many different crucial details of the construction, such as using natural stone façade, and slate roof tiles to ensure that the club fits perfectly into its local surroundings.”
SL2 Ltd deliver commercial construction solutions to the highest quality and health & safety standards. With over 60 years’ combined experience in construction management, their knowledge, and skills to construct sustainable places where people can thrive and prosper are a breath of fresh air in modern construction management.
