They say there is no such thing as a free lunch, but at the University of Sunderland there is!
The Workforce Development Team in the Enterprise and Innovation department at the University of Sunderland is thrilled to announce its brand-new Business Lunch Networking event on 17th Nov 11am-1pm, open to all businesses and organisations in the Northeast.
Our keynote speaker, Sharon MacArthur, aka Miss Menopause will also be joining us!
Sharon works with employers in retaining talent, increasing engagement, and protecting mental health and wellness through the delivery of menopause education in the workplace.
At The University of Sunderland, she has delivered multiple funded sessions through the Northeast Workforce Skills Programme thanks to funding from ESF (European Social Fund). She continues to encourage workplaces to speak openly about menopause and its impact on life and career. She will be speaking at our event to give you a taste of what she can offer your business.
In addition to finding out about the Enterprise and Innovation department’s funding plans, attendees will learn about the department’s opportunities for business growth as well as its developmental impact on businesses around the region.
Northeast Ambition will also be on hand to speak about their funded project here in the NE too. On the day of the event, the Workforce Development team will be in attendance with information about ESF funded courses, workplace short courses, and degree apprenticeships.
We look forward to welcoming you all to the Industry Centre on 17th Nov at 11am.
Network, eat, and find out ways to support your employees and organisational growth with the fully funded options available here at The University of Sunderland, as well as joining us in our mission to encourage an open dialogue about menopause in the workplace.
