Dorset MP cuts ribbon in official launch of new homes in Shaftesbury
The MP for North Dorset, Simon Hoare, was the guest of honour at a new development in Shaftesbury last week.
Mr Hoare was invited to David Wilson Homes Niveus Walk on Friday 4th November to cut the official ribbon announcing the opening of the new site, as well as to take a first look at the new homes on offer.
The development is a brand-new community coming to the picturesque Dorset town and will be bringing a total of 162 new homes to the region.
The MP was given the grand tour alongside Sales Director Tammy Bishop, who talked through the mix of homes for sale, the new timber frame construction of build as well as local customers who have already made reservations at the exciting new development.
Full of praise for the construction team’s work and commending the build so far, Mr Hoare said: “It’s great to see these new homes being developed to help meet the mix of housing needs of North Dorset.
“It has been an honour to officially open Niveus Walk ready for potential buyers, and I’m looking forward to seeing things progress in the coming weeks and months.”
Tammy Bishop, Sales Director for David Wilson Homes, Southampton Division, said: “We were delighted to welcome Mr Hoare to cut the official ribbon here at Niveus Walk, and we’re thrilled that he’s given the site his seal of approval.
“This new development is in an ideal location – set against a backdrop of beautiful countryside, but with all local amenities and great schools nearby.”
Niveus Walk will be a collection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes in the traditional mar-ket town of Shaftesbury. The development boasts an excellent choice of local independent shops and restaurants nearby along with a choice of great schools. The county of Wiltshire and the city of Salisbury are also within driving distance.
