BT and Barclaycard team up to support business customers over festive period

BT today announced that it has expanded its relationship with Barclaycard Payments and will boost cashback for the UK’s smallest firms from 2 per cent to 10 per cent on all spend with BT and EE over the festive period.

The increased cashback offer builds upon the partnership BT announced with Barclaycard Payments back in August, and will provide Barclaycard business customers more cashback throughout the festive period. Benefits include:

• Business customers will automatically receive 10 per cent cashback on their spend at BT or EE during the period between until 20 January 2023
• The promotional offer is available for both new and existing business customers who pay with their business Barclaycard for BT/EE services.

Barclaycard business customers will continue to benefit from the EE business mobile offers, where they will benefit from up to £100 off handset plans for new and existing customers. BT shop is a means by which Barclaycard business customers can save money on laptops, tablets, smart watches, TVs and smartphones

Within three months of the BT & Barclaycard partnership starting, BT businesses have saved over £10k and with the cashback increasing from 2 per cent to 10 per cent over this period.

The expectation is that small business customers will save more at a time that is traditionally “very busy”, owing to the Black Friday, Christmas, and January promotional periods.

Lucinda Webster, director of small business at Barclaycard Payments, added: “To support businesses with rising costs, we’re giving our existing and new customers 10 per cent cashback when they spend with BT and EE until 20 January 2023 inclusive.

“That includes everything from spending on laptops, TV purchases, to new handsets - just pay with your Barclaycard and we’ll do the rest”.
