Holt Commercial completes hat-trick of deals in Coventry
A Midlands-based commercial property agency has completed a hat-trick of deals on industrial units in Coventry.
Holt Commercial has agreed lettings on three compact units in the city on behalf of Coventry City Council following unprecedented demand.
It includes two units at Hanford Close, off Stoney Stanton Road, of 749 sq ft and 1,005 sq ft as well as a further unit on Redland Close, on the Aldermans Green Industrial Estate, of 1,039 sq ft.
Ross Bendall, senior surveyor at Holt Commercial, said the market for industrial units remains very strong. He said: “There was incredible demand in the three units – so much so that we had to go to ‘best and final offers’.
“There was a real variety of tenants interested in the properties including start-up businesses right through to long-established limited companies.
“We knew there would be strong interest but the level of enquiries was unexpected and shows that, despite the wider economic picture, there is still extremely strong demand in the industrial sector, especially for smaller units. “At Holt Commercial, we have further industrial properties available and they are attracting very strong interest too and we hope to agree further deals soon.”
