Sovini Construction support’s local LGBTQ+ women’s football club
Sovini Construction, proudly part of The Sovini Group, have sponsored Merseyside’s first LGBTQ+ women’s football team, Inclusion Plus FC.
Inclusion Plus Football Club who compete in the region’s first female only league, LCFA Sefton were established to support positive mental health and to promote inclusion across the local LGBTQ+ community; creating a safe space on and off the football pitch.
Sovini Construction are delighted to be sponsoring the talented team, as they too promote equality, diversity and inclusion for their colleagues, customers and communities alike. The award-winning construction firm have been working on their flagship Morris Meadows new build housing development in close proximity of the team’s training ground in Netherton, Merseyside.
The sponsorship deal follows the recent appointment of The Sovini Group’s new female chief business officer, Anita Harrison-Carroll. Not only has Anita achieved industry recognition as business leader of the year at the Women in Construction Awards, she has also champion’s fellow females into the construction industry and strives to create an inclusive workplace for all to thrive in.
