Influencer event is a hit with Bedhampton buyers

A Hampshire development is celebrating the success of its first influencer event – which saw dozens of Bedhampton buyers attend.

Barratt Homes’ Harbour Place welcomed guests through its doors on November 26, to offer advice on purchasing a new home. A team of financial and interior experts were on hand, and there was a chance for visitors to benefit from several incentives.

The “Why Buy New?” event proved such a hit that one savvy buyer snapped up a brand-new home on the day and received £25,000 either towards their mortgage or to spend on an interior design package.

Other prospective customers had the opportunity to engage with leading industry experts. Chris Bavin, mortgage advisor from TORC24, advised on specialist new-build mortgages. Erica designer, from Edward Thomas Interiors, fronted discussions on how to create a sustainable environment through your interior design choices. And Ken Okoroafor, from money saving advice website The Humble Penny, was offering handy hints and tips on how buyers can save money for a deposit.

Tony Smith, Sales Advisor, from Barratt Homes was also available to talk through the housebuilder’s impressive incentives available upon purchase.

He said: “This was a brilliant opportunity for Bedhampton buyers to visit Harbour Place and gain insightful knowledge into what purchasing a home with Barratt entails.

“The event was a great success, and we were so pleased to sell a home on the day to a very happy customer.

“We would like to thank everybody who came along to our “Why Buy New?” event, especially our team of experts. Their knowledge was extremely valuable, and we look forward to working with them again in the future.”

Barratt Homes buyers also get extra peace of mind with a 10-year warranty issued by the National House-Building Council. In the unlikely event that anything goes wrong with the property a few years down the line, they will have someone to call.

Harbour Place is a collection of homes located between Bedhampton and Drayton, close to a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants, along with a great choice of local nurseries and ‘Good’ Ofsted rated schools. The development also boasts excellent transport links, with direct access to both the M27 and the A3 providing links to Portsmouth, Southampton and London.
