Property finance specialist boosts loan capacity to £250m via “innovative” US partnership
London headquartered asset manager for property finance, LendInvest, has completed its first loan under its new Residential Investment Portfolio Loan Product which is launched in partnership with a US based asset manager.
The £37m loan is secured against a nationwide portfolio of predominantly residential investment properties. The client refinanced existing loans from six lenders into a single loan facility with LendInvest.
The Residential Investment Portfolio Loan product allows borrowers to fix their interest over the loan term for a period of up to 20 years. With a target loan size of up to £100m, the product helps borrowers with large portfolios to consolidate their financing with one lender.
Launched with the support of a US based asset manager, this new partnership will allow for a capacity of over £250m of new lending per year with the potential to expand this partnership in the future.
Joe Read, fundraising and investor relations manager at LendInvest commented: “It’s brilliant to get this deal done and offer a new tailored portfolio solution for borrowers, providing borrowers with the opportunity to consolidate their existing loans into a single loan facility, and the option to fix that rate for the long term.
“To be able to offer these innovative solutions with a leading US-based asset manager in a rising interest rate environment is an advantageous addition to our lending suite.”
