Steven Bartlett’s latest marketing venture sees “colossal” first-year growth

Flight Story has today announced it will achieve $10m+ in revenue across its companies in its first year of trading, a “colossal milestone” for a business of its infancy, and is on track for a continued steep growth trajectory going into 2023.

Along with the revenue update, London based Flight Story is announcing the official launch of its proprietary AI social analytics tool, Flight Deck. This follows the launch of the first-of-its-kind talent acquisition community, Flight Talent, last month.

Flight Story is the innovative marketing group, co-founded in 2021 by the creators of Social Chain, former MD Oliver Yonchev and Steven Bartlett (BBC Dragon’s Den).

As a team, Oliver and Steven have a track record of successfully empowering brands to build a community and capture the opportunity digital transformation creates, from social media at Social Chain and now with the next iteration of the internet at Flight Story.

With a focus on communication for finance, emerging tech and disruptive brands, Flight Story equips brands with the people processes and technology needed to capitalise on this next iteration of the internet, or ‘digital wave’.

Steven commented: “When I founded Social Chain, the focus was on leveraging the opportunities the adoption of social media presented to build the brands and products of the next generation.

“Now, we are experiencing another shift in the digital landscape as the next iteration of the internet materialises. This is why we launched Flight Story - to facilitate now the next generation of products and brands not only realise the opportunities realised by technological advancements, but position themselves at the forefront”.

From conception to a team of now over 65, Flight Story has seen “significant growth” over the past year.

The group has made a number of notable hires, including former Dentsu executive Andy Leck as CFO, former Allen and Overy executive Hannah Rolph as director of people and talent, Forbes 30 Under 30’s Anoopreet Rehncy as creative director and former Social Chain head of data & insights McVal Osborne as CDO.

In January 2021, Flight Story acquired R. Agency, the communications firm, to offer clients “unparalleled” consultancy and impactful results in the world of PR. This was followed by the launch of Flight Story’s very own creative studio, Flight Studio, which empowers brands to tell more powerful and far-reaching stories.

More recently, Flight Story invested in ‘the world’s most purpose-driven creative agency’, Nuevo, to solidify the group’s commitment to paving the way to a sustainable future.
