Award-winning £185m Dartford waterside village development launches final phase
Volume housebuilder Weston Homes has launched a boutique collection of 11 contemporary two-bedroom apartments in the final phase at the £185m (GDV) award-winning waterside village Langley Square in Dartford, the regeneration of an industrial site dating back to 1852.
The 11-acre mixed-use development provides 812 apartments and five commercial units, all designed around communal green spaces and the historic Mill Pond and River Darent, with the waterway wrapping around the southern aspect of the development.
Weston Homes has launched this new collection after the “great success” of the development’s previous phases, which has won multiple awards including Best High Volume New Housing Development at the LABC South East Awards 2020 and the Best First-Time Buyer Home Award at the Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2019.
As part of Weston Homes’ commitment to sustainability, the properties have high performance thermally insulated windows and patio doors, helping to reduce heat loss and maximising natural warmth from solar gain. The thermal windows and doors are double glazed and are fitted into their surrounding wall panel to exacting specifications.

Located on Mill Pond Road in Dartford and just a six-minute walk to Dartford Railway Station, Langley Square features the “unique” surroundings of the historic Mill Pond, green open spaces and transport connections into London in under 45 minutes.
Langley Square also provides new residents with amenities on the doorstep including a convenience store and gym and three shopping centres, each offering a mix of independent and high street shops. Just a short drive away is Bluewater, a retail destination providing over 50 restaurants and over 300 stores and a cinema.
Bob Weston, chairman and managing director of Weston Homes, commented: “Dartford is transforming, and our scheme sets the benchmark of luxurious living in the area.
“After great previous success, we are pleased to announce the launch of the final phase at this multi-award-winning development and welcome new buyers to join the vibrant community that has been created here.
“Situated opposite Dartford Railway Station, these homes will provide great opportunities for starter families, and young couples looking to be within close proximity to Central London”.
