Minibus Trip Takes People Down Memory Lane
A recent minibus drive out from Haslington Lodge Care Home in Dartford took everyone down memory lane and to the places they used to work.
The outing took in many places where careers were formed, and friends made, for others it was a connection back to roles they had and the contribution they made during their working lives.
Tracey Crittenden, Activities Coordinator at Haslington Lodge Care Home said: “We spend a lot of time talking about memories but going on a road trip to visit the places people once worked was magical. It brought the stories to life. There was so much more to discuss, more unheard stories came to mind and more anecdotes were shared, the sheer positivity surrounding the trip was just lovely to see.”
