Bellway Homes "finishes 2022 as it started" selling out a development in Harrogate

The Yorkshire division of national homebuilder, Bellway Homes has finished 2022 exactly as it started it selling out a development in Harrogate.

Jubilee Park on Pannal’s Thirkill Drive is the second Bellway development in the town to sell-out this year, with St George’s Walk in Harrogate town centre having already hung the sold-out signs in early Spring.

Paula Murdoch, Bellway Yorkshire’s sales manager, said: “There’s been a lot of talk about demand for homes in and around Harrogate being at an unparalleled level, and selling out a second development in the calendar year certainly proves it.”

“The desire to call Harrogate home isn’t just restricted to people in Yorkshire. We’ve had enquiries from people all over the country, and a number from abroad and even now, when we’re completely sold out in the town, the calls are still coming in asking if we’ll be launching any new developments in the area and if so, when.”

While building the 133 home Jubilee Park, Bellway showed an incredible level of flexibility by carrying out a redesign that led to a number of four-bedroom homes being replaced by three-bedroom properties.

“The number of enquiries we were receiving for three-bedroom townhouses was easily outstripping the number we had on the market,” explained Paula. “So rather than turning people away, we went back to our site plans for Jubilee Park and carried out a redesign, which resulted in unanimously positive customer feedback and a lot of very quick sales.”

Bellway Homes is currently building in Pocklington in North Yorkshire and is due to launch a new site in Skipton in Spring 2023. And for those who missed out on the townhouses in Pannal, the housebuilder recently launched Hill Side - an exclusive collection of 16 stunning townhouses on its popular St John’s View development in Menston.
