Mood-boosting herbal tea pop up enters Selfridges London Foodhall

Herbal wellness brand Lab Tonica has officially launched a herbal tea cart pop-up at Selfridges London. Found in the Foodhall on G until the 22nd of January, the pop-up encourages everyone to tap into the alchemy of nature with Lab Tonica’s exquisite herbal product range, which champions century-old knowledge, sustainability, and the finest hand-picked herbal ingredients.

Coming on the heels of the brand’s January campaign to provide a simple yet efficient solution to consumers’ New Year routines, and positively introduce them to the benefits of functional drinks, Lab Tonica’s pop-up invites visitors to learn more about herbalism, sample their mood-boosting range of plant-powered herbal teas.

The rise of popularity within the functional drinks market over the past few years is no longer a recent development. Functional beverages are anticipated to see the fastest rate of growth in the global beverage market. With the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.4 per cent, the size of the global functional beverage market will increase from $131,47bn in 2022 to $147,7bn in 2023 according to TBRC.

Kitty McEntee, founder & owner of Lab Tonica, says: “Though January marks an exciting time of the year when people actively look for ways to start anew and set brand-new goals, this often becomes a time of intense pressure and negativity, too; people tend to focus on ‘cutting out’ things from their life and ‘giving up’ something.

“However, now is the perfect time to change the narrative and put the emphasis on bringing the goodness in rather than cutting something out, which is a belief that Lab Tonica’s mission beautifully aligns with. We’re delighted to have our first pop-up at Selfridges London to showcase the benefits of drinking plant-powered herbal teas everyday with their visitors.”

Aiming to highlight the benefits of functional drinks, the Lab Tonica cart allows you to see the ingredients and of each blend through an exciting display of glass jars that visually break down the ingredients of the collections. The cart allows customers to explore the benefits and function of each tea.

In addition to being stocked at Selfridges London, Lab Tonica’s hand-crafted product ranges are also available at the brand’s very own brick-and-mortar Lab Tonica Collective store on Chatsworth Road in Lower Clapton.

Previously a Victorian sweet shop left derelict for over 20 years, it’s now an escapist wellness emporium that offers a broad range lifestyle gifts and accessories courtesy of emerging businesses as well as the full Lab Tonica collection for teas, aromatherapies and candles.
