Surrey waste management company goes greener creating new jobs following 7 figure investment

Surrey-based waste management company, Weybridge Skip Hire, has invested in a new first-of-its-kind waste recycling plant as part of their brand-new Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) in Brooklands, Weybridge, thanks to a £1m funding package from HSBC UK.

The introduction of the new 31,500 sq. ft. bespoke Materials Recycling Plant, manufactured by Kiverco, will increase the company’s capacity for separating and processing waste materials by up to 40 per cent, allowing up to 100,000 tonnes of waste to be recycled per annum, rather than going to landfill.

In addition, the new recycling plant will allow for improved business practices by enabling the company to further its strategic sustainable ventures, including installing solar panels on the roof of the building, allowing the company to be energy efficient.

The MRF plant has also boosted the local economy by creating 19 new jobs in the local area, including roles in administration and machine operation.

Established in 1980, the family-run business provides reliable skip hire and waste disposal services throughout Surrey, South and West London, parts of Berkshire, and Hampshire.
