Surrey-based landscaping group completes seventh acquisition consolidating North East presence
Surrey-based Nurture Landscapes Group, has completed its seventh acquisition with the purchase of County Durham landscaping specialist, Beaumont Landscapes.
This latest northern eastern acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, reinforces Nurture’s grounds maintenance and winter gritting operations in the region, enabling the group to consolidate and relocate its other operations in the locality at Beaumont’s existing Newton Aycliffe site.
Beaumont Landscapes, established in 1965, reached sales of around £1m, and serves around 150 clients across 200 site locations.
Nurture’s acquisition of Beaumont enables it to close its depot at Lingfield Point and relocate its north east grounds maintenance team, currently based at its hub in Durham, to Newton Aycliffe.
Sophie Lineton, Beaumont managing director and the founder’s granddaughter together with five other members of the Lineton family, will join Nurture as part of the acquisition.
Peter Fane, executive chairman, said: “Bringing Beaumont Landscapes into The Nurture Landscapes Group is an exciting step for us. Both of us share similarly strong family values and brilliant client relationships, which makes us a great fit, enhancing the group’s strong focus on people and the environment.
“I am really looking forward to working with Sophie, her family, and the Beaumont team in continuing to deliver outstanding quality and service to our respective client bases.”
