Stunning development throws open doors to homebuyers

As the first buyers prepare to move into a unique development in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, house-hunters can see the stunning properties for themselves at a special open day.

The event at the Heaton House development in Camden Street will be an opportunity to view the impressive townhouse show home, as well as the one and two-bedroom luxury apartments created by Elevate Property Group.

The open day will take place this Saturday, February 11, from 10am until 2pm. Viewings are by appointment with the selling agents, Knight Frank, on 0121 233 6495.

Heaton House is an exciting development of 14 freehold townhouses and 42 apartments, all focused around the meticulous restoration of the historic Georgian Old Heaton House villa itself.

The townhouses all have terraced gardens with allocated on-site gated car parking and access to EV charging points. They are offered freehold.

The development, including six loft apartments, is already more than 75 per cent sold so early viewing is advisable.

David Hofton, sales and marketing director for Elevate Property Group, said the first buyers were moving into the development this month.

“Heaton House is just a short walk from the popular bars and restaurants St Paul’s Square yet in the heart of the sought-after Jewellery Quarter, which was named one of the best places to live in the Midlands by the Sunday Times.

“All of the properties at Heaton House offer the very best of city centre living and demand has already been very high.”

Old Heaton House, which is at the heart of the development, was built in about 1823 for William Cotterill, a wealthy Birmingham merchant of high status, but a century of industry on the site had left the house in poor condition and swamped by industrial buildings.

Elevate cleared the area and have restored the Georgian house to its prime, with the apartments and townhouses sympathetically developed around it to reflect the local history and architecture while bringing 21st century standards of quality and luxury.

One bedroom apartments at Heaton House start from £252,500, and two bedrooms from £310,000. Townhouses start from £500,000.
