ISO consultancy continues to set a quality standard
Sunderland based ISO consultancy, Compliant, are celebrating as they successfully retain the company’s five UKAS accredited ISO certifications including quality, health & safety and information security.
The company, which was founded in 2017 by director, Mark Henderson, has experienced significant growth during the last two years as businesses look to save costs, streamline processes and access tender opportunities, all of which can be accessed by gaining an ISO standard.
As expert consultants, Mark, who himself is a BSI trained lead auditor, was determined to create a unique selling point within the business and that included being ISO certified themselves.
Mark explained, “When I initially launched the business, I knew it was essential that in order to provide expert advice regarding the ISO process, we had to experience the same ourselves. Being certified to the five main ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 22301 & 27001) and the Safety Schemes in Procurement certification means that we’re going through the same audit process as our clients, this ensures that when we provide advice and guidance, we do it from an experienced first-hand viewpoint.
We know the concerns, time constraints and resources it takes to not only gain the ISO standards but also to maintain them. Many companies have the view that gaining an ISO standard is the difficult part, it certainly is a huge achievement and doesn’t come without its challenges, however, maintaining that standard year on year is what really sets you apart.
Having worked with over 100 businesses during the last year, they know that we ‘walk the walk’ as well as ‘talk the talk’ and can be confident in knowing they are receiving the very best support, advice and guidance.
With an increase in demand for ISO certifications, we have invested heavily in the business during the last two years including new ISO management software, staff training, an updated easy-to-navigate website, sales and marketing. This has ensured we are in the best position possible to continue to provide first-class service to our clients and are looking forward to further growth in 2023.“
