Bespoke Training

Leading from the Middle is a bespoke course that Newcastle College are offering which is proving very popular. The ESF courses can be developed bespoke to an employers needs, which is what Newcastle United Foundation did recently when they worked with Newcastle College on the Leading from the Middle training.

Introduction to Leadership

The University of Sunderland are running a three day Introduction to Leadership course which is an exciting opportunity to identify and nurture emerging leaders in the North-East region. Delivered on campus, this is a great introductory level course which provides an opportunity for those not yet in formal leadership roles to gain knowledge on what it takes to be a fantastic leader. Participants will achieve greater insight into themselves and their organisation. They will be challenged to understand their own traits and attributes and how these qualities determine behaviour.

Mental Health Awareness for Managers

Looking after our mental health is really important and the University of Sunderland is running a Mental Health Awareness for Managers course. This course is fantastic for leaders, managers and interested peers working in any sector who are responsible for supporting staff who might be struggling with their mental health. This course will help staff to feel more confident in talking to someone who has just divulged that they are distressed or concerned about a mental health problem, assessing the level of concern around the mental health problem, and knowing who to get involved and how. This course is recommended for anybody who is a line manager within their workplace. Great managers make great leaders!
