North Yorkshire food & drink consultancy doubles turnover following restructure

A team of food and drink industry professionals continue to deliver growth for both themselves and their clients despite the headwind of increased economic challenges.

With a mission to help food and drink brands deliver profitable growth and achieve their potential in the dynamic UK grocery retail sector, Subrosa Ltd has grown from £522k to £1.2m turnover in just 2 years and now employs 17 people from its office in Beamsley, near Bolton Abbey, an increase from 8 employees in 2021.

This success has come by both increasing turnover with existing clients as well as expanding their client base. Established in 2010 by Amanda Peberdy and Rachel O’Brien, Subrosa works in partnership with businesses of all sizes to provide support across Marketing, Commercial, and Supply and Operations in the retail sector.

Due to continued growth and “ambitious” future plans, they have recently restructured the business, and expanded the team with several senior hires who have a wealth of knowledge in senior buying positions as well as Brand Marketing, Category Management, Finance, Account Management and Supply Chain Management.

The business has also just completed a major rebrand and website redevelopment, bringing a clean, fresh, and contemporary look reflecting their straightforward approach and commitment to hard work and professionalism for clients.

Amanda Peberdy commented: “Subrosa is uniquely positioned to deliver growth for our clients in the UK grocery retail sector.

“We recognise that every client has their own specific needs so we offer a tailored approach, which provides the right level of experienced resource and advice at the right time to businesses which might not otherwise be able to commit to taking on salaried employees to do this.

“We’re proud to be based on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales with clients across the UK and internationally.”

Clients include Zizzi, Zur Mühlen International, Rokit Health, JellySqueeze and Binghams to name a few. With the new team structure proving a success and a refreshed brand and website, Subrosa is in a “strong position” to deliver further growth for clients and truly enable them to achieve their potential.
