Jewellers invest £3m into making Leeds the 'northern hub of luxury shopping'
Family-owned luxury jewellers, Berry’s, opened its doors to yet another boutique in late 2022, dedicated to selling Vacheron Constantin watches. Vacheron Constantin, the luxury Maison established in Switzerland with more than 265 years of heritage is known for its intricate, handcrafted timepieces.
While the nation endures masses of uncertainty with the current economic crisis, Berry’s endeavours to support the high street with the opening of the Vacheron Constantin boutique offering jobs and support to the local community.
The only Vacheron Constantin boutique in England outside of London, the Berry’s team have contributed towards Leeds becoming the northern hub of luxury shopping with a £3m investment in the boutique.
The Leeds Vacheron boutique stands out on Commercial Street with its elegant design, bespoke interior décor, and display of luxurious timepieces. Its neighbouring store, Owen & Robinson, is also set to receive a dazzling makeover and will soon become an additional Berry’s showroom.
Speaking of the expansion, Simon Walton, managing director of Berry’s, tells us, “As a business born in the heart of Leeds, we’re delighted to be contributing to the economy of the city. We’ve been able to open the doors to the Vacheron Constantin boutique where other stores on the high street have unfortunately closed and are proud to create new job opportunities within the community.”
