Creative communications B Corp launches new “state-of-the-art” Birmingham office
Emperor, one of the UK’s largest employee-owned creative communications agencies, is excited to announce the opening of its new office in central Birmingham, UK.
After briefly moving away from the city in 2020, this month Emperor is welcoming back its team and clients to the heart of Birmingham’s “vibrant” business district. The opening is a testament to the city’s growth and “exceptional” companies and talent based in the region.
The move is a positive step forward in Emperor’s mission to forge “great relationships” with the many businesses that call Birmingham home. The Midlands hub will allow the agency to better collaborate with clients and provide them with a personalised service.
Emperor will take over two spaces on the first floor of the “state-of-the-art” building, 103 Colmore Row, which officially opened its doors in late 2022. The space is operated by workspace provider, x+why, which is B Corp certified and shares Emperor’s philosophy that the power of business should be used as a force for good.
Emperor became B Corp certified in 2022 and is “excited” about sharing the building with many other like minded businesses. Since Emperor was founded in 1996 it has pushed itself to operate responsibly, and it is looking forward to “continuous improvement” on that journey in its new location.
The new office is Emperor’s fifth hub, joining London, Edinburgh, Manchester and Dubai. Birmingham provides great opportunities to connect with people and places, offering great transport links and a buzzing, diverse and social city.
Victoria Sugg, co-CEO of Emperor, commented: “We are thrilled to be back in Birmingham. We’re incredibly proud of the space we have on Colmore Row, the tallest building in the city boasting the fastest lift in Europe!
“This move is a significant milestone for Emperor following the fantastic growth we’ve seen in the past few years. I’m excited to meet with companies based in and around the city and continue to expand the reach of our incredible business.”
