Kitchen specialist launches “innovative” Sheffield base after six-figure investment
Specialists independent kitchen design and installation company Kitchen Craft Design Limited has opened its fourth premises in the region after a £100k investment.
The company, which already operates from Ecclesall Road in Sheffield, Chesterfield and Worksop, has opened a new “state of the art” showroom at Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre.
Sheffield solicitors Wake Smith advised on the lease for the “innovative” 1,000 sq ft base, based in one of four newly developed units at the popular shopping destination, for managing director William Toon.
The move sees the company, which has a turnover of £3m, target customers across East Sheffield and expand its full-time team to 18, alongside its growing band of sub-contractors.
William, who took over the established 37-year-old company from his dad Andrew, nine years ago, commented: “We looked at the East side of Sheffield and realised there was a big catchment area that we were not targeting. The opportunity to move into Crystal Peaks means we are exactly where we want to be.
“Our investment in the new showroom, which has its own entrance, means we can feature up to six kitchen displays highlighting our first class design and installation skills.”
Kitchen Craft Design’s partners include Bosch, Neff, Siemens, Quooker, Dekton, Hacker, Franke and Silestone.
Laura Saul, associate in Wake Smith’s commercial property team, acts for Kitchen Craft Design Limited for all their property needs. She said: “William’s business goes from strength to strength and he is building a strong presence in the region in key locations.
“We were really pleased to provide ongoing legal support for William and his thriving business.”
William added: “Laura Saul continues to service both my residential and commercial property needs with her sound advice, always going above and beyond expectations.”
