NEXT up: British retailer NEXT opens at Gloucester Quays
Peel L&P has announced the opening of NEXT, the renowned British retailer, at Gloucester Quays, the South West’s premier outlet and dining destination. The opening of the 10,441 sq ft store marks the return of NEXT to the destination.
Located opposite the M&S outlet, the new NEXT outlet store features a range of high-quality and affordable products across its clearance collections. Well-known brands such as GAP, Calvin Klein, and Crocs are on offer, as well as lines from NEXT’s own label. Women’s, men’s, and children’s fashion, as well as accessories, homeware and a variety of beauty products, are available.
Aligning with their full-price store at the adjacent Gloucester Retail Park, the NEXT outlet at Gloucester Quays delivers more choice for the destination’s visitors, with access to items from the label at an affordable price point.
Paul Carter, Asset Director at Peel L&P, commented: “We are thrilled that NEXT has officially returned to Gloucester Quays, showcasing the destination as a front-runner for retail and outlet shopping within the UK. NEXT has huge renown in retail, so we are proud to have them as part of the tenant mix here, with their high-quality clearance collections guaranteed to be a hit with Gloucester Quays’ visitors.”
Judi Bowers, Area Manager for NEXT Gloucester Quays, added: “It is a great moment for NEXT to have made its return to Gloucester Quays, and we are so excited to be able to showcase our range of high-quality, affordable clothing to a key South West audience. We strive to offer something for everyone and feel sure that our new Gloucester Quays location will reflect this.”
The news of NEXT’s launch at Gloucester Quays follows the recent opening of international footwear and lifestyle retailer, Timberland. The openings follow a hugely successful 2022 for the outlet, with retail sales up 8% compared with 2019
