New smart #1 to be previewed at Mercedes-Benz of Stockport

The smart #1 is coming to the UK for the first time since its world premiere in Berlin and LSH Auto will be hosting an exclusive preview evening at Mercedes-Benz of Stockport on Thursday 4 May.

Recently named one of the UK’s safest cars at the 2023 What Car? Awards, the all-new smart #1 is an electric SUV that combines futuristic design with seamless connectivity.

Vaughan Blackman, Managing Director of LSH Auto UK, said: “The all-new #1 is the first in a completely new line-up from from smart and we’re excited to be sharing it with our customers on 4 May.

“Having launched its first EV test programme 15 years ago, and having been the first established manufacturer to go completely electric (in 2020), smart now combines its distinct know-how in electric mobility with the premium design of Mercedes-Benz and the advanced engineering power of Geely’s SEA platform. It’s absolutely a recipe for success and I’m sure it’s going to be popular with our customers.”

The #1 offers exceptional space and flexibility within a compact overall footprint. Perfectly suited to the urban environment it also makes long distance travel hassle-free, with a range of up to 273 miles, easy journey charging solutions and a DC charging capacity of 150kW. All combined with a high degree of connectivity.

The smart #1 will have a variety of models to choose from to perfectly fit the needs and lifestyle of its owner.

From the exceptional standard specification of the entry level Pro+, which offers features usually associated with luxury cars, to the incredible performance of BRABUS, which leaves purpose-built sports cars trailing in its wake. In addition to the features that are already available on the Pro+ line, such as an extensive range of driving assistance systems, a 360-degree surround camera, intelligent voice assistance, LED lights and a powered tailgate, the Premium line offers a sound system by Beats, a Head-Up Display (HUD), CyberSparks+ LED Matrix headlights and Automatic Parking Assist. The #1 BRABUS will step up from two-wheel drive to all-wheel drive and offer even more unique BRABUS influences around the car.

The all-new smart #1 Pro+ will be unveiled at LSH Auto’s exclusive preview event on the upper floor of Mercedes-Benz of Stockport from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday 4th May, along with mocktails from a mixologist, canapes and music.
