Silicon Yorkshire continues momentum with business lunch

Silicon Yorkshire, the fastest growing tech community in the North, is continuing its momentum with a second Tech and Digital Business Lunch. Taking place at Bibis in Leeds on Thursday 15 June from 12pm – 3.30pm, the event will bring together 200 professionals from across the region.

Following the success of the previous Business Lunch, which was held at The Whitehall Restaurant and Bar in Leeds in February, it is anticipated this will be a further sell-out function for the membership group, which is free to join.

Board director of Silicon Yorkshire, Sam Hasson, comments: “We’ve had some great events this year already including the first Business Lunch and also the Silicon Yorkshire Expo. It has shown us all that there is a real appetite from the tech community to come together and to benefit from the expertise that exists within our sector.

“We can’t wait for the next Business Lunch. It is a relaxed and informal way to meet with people and to make connections that have value for all involved. We will be announcing speakers and sponsors over the coming weeks and would urge people to book their tickets sooner rather than later.

“As the group continues to build momentum, we look forward to making even more exciting announcements! As an inclusive group, we welcome senior executives along with innovative start-up and scale-up businesses. After all, we can see how much stronger we will all be when we are working together.”

Sponsorship packages are also available for businesses that would like to build a closer association with the group and that want to benefit from the network it is cultivating.

Attracting 3,000 pre-registrations before launch, Silicon Yorkshire brings together leading executives from the tech sector, along with innovative start-up and scale-up digital businesses, based throughout Yorkshire and beyond.
