All a Glow for Sunderland Distributor
SUNDERLAND based French Beauty Expert Distribution Ltd have been appointed as the UK distributor for the famous global self-tanning brand, Fake Bake.
The team who specialises in supplying skincare, beauty tools and home fragrance in the UK and Ireland are a highly respected and experienced UK brand management, consultancy and distributor for brands based overseas. Their latest coup will see the team oversee both the trade and retail distribution across the UK for the world-famous brand.
Renowned in the industry for beautiful glowing fake tans with a natural finish, Fake Bake was launched in the US in 1990s and has been producing the leading self-tanning products for professionals and consumers ever since. As one of the original self-tanning companies, the beloved tanning formulas can be found throughout the world in homes, at salons and even on the covers of the world’s biggest fashion magazines.
The French Beauty Expert Distribution HQ is nestled on the banks of the River Wear, and just a stone’s throw from the highly anticipated potential film industry hub in Pallion, bringing even more Hollywood glow to the city of Sunderland.
Peter Fisher, CEO, French Beauty Expert Distribution said:
“We are delighted to secure the UK distribution rights for both retail and salon trade across the UK. Everyone knows the brand; it’s a household name and we are focussed on rebuilding the brand profile in the UK.
The response to the product since we took on the distribution rights in November, especially from salon trade has been exceptional with over 250 salons now stocking Fake Bake across the UK.
Word of mouth is most definitely the brands USP, once salons and consumers try the product there is no turning back, they love it, and the repeat orders keep coming in.“
The range of salon exclusives and its extensive and innovative retail product range is seeing Fake Bake channelling their red-carpet glow direct to their fan base, and consumers can’t get enough of that bronzed all-year glow with retail products now stocked in various retail outlets including Sephora and Beauty Fresh.
The choice of beauty experts and celebrities alike it’s no wonder that the product range is on the radar of celebs from Helen Flanagan, Motana Rose Brown, Sophie Cairns, Ryan Thomas, Olly Murs, Jake Quickenden to Sam Faiers.
Peter added:
“The brand is on the radar of some of the highest-profile celebrity events, from the official tanners at the Brits last year to tanning the stars of Dancing of Ice, the team were even backstage this month to kick off the Olly Murs tour and ensure he had his glow on. The brand has such a strong reputation in the industry, and we can’t wait to see the brand and the product range roll out even further across the UK in the coming months.”
