Medallia adds key executives to accelerate innovation and scalable growth
Medallia, the global leader in customer and employee experience, today announced the addition of two new key executives, with Dan Madden named Chief Financial Officer and Robert Baca Chief Technology Officer.
“While Medallia is already recognised as the global leader in customer and employee experience, we are accelerating our focus on innovation,” said Joe Tyrrell, CEO at Medallia. “We are actively working on the next generation of automated personalisation, leveraging our AI, along with our proprietary data, and our deep expertise in creating personal experiences. The addition of Dan and Robert will enable us to go even faster.”
Madden is a proven CFO with vast experience leading SaaS companies through significant growth. His addition to the leadership team at Medallia will enable the organisation to continue to scale operationally and support the growth of the business. Madden has held CFO and finance leadership positions at Edifecs, Ellie Mae, Revel Systems, Cepheid, Symmetricom, Tellabs, and McKesson.
“I am excited to step into the CFO role at Medallia to help the company continue executing its strategic plan, accelerate growth, and deliver value across the organisation,” said Madden. “I look forward to building on the company’s momentum and strong business fundamentals.”
Baca will leverage his expertise in automation, AI, and machine learning to accelerate Medallia’s delivery of innovation. He spent the last 23 years at Ellie Mae and ICE Mortgage Technology in a variety of senior leadership roles, most recently serving as Chief Technology Officer.
“Medallia is already leading the way in utilising sophisticated AI and natural language processing to help the largest companies in the world better understand their customers and employees and deliver meaningful experiences for them,” said Baca. “I look forward to using the depth of data and domain expertise Medallia has to accelerate our generative AI capabilities to deliver more predictive personalisation.”
