Housing development offers “unique opportunity” in popular North London location

On Saturday May 13, L&Q launched its final collection of Shared Ownership homes at L&Q at Ridgeway Views. Comprising one and two-bedroom Shared Ownership homes, the release of 44 apartments marks the final phase at the Mill Hill development.

Well suited to a variety of buyers, including couples and solo purchasers, the development offers a “unique opportunity” to step onto the property ladder in the capital in this popular north London location.

Claire Brenlund, L&Q sales and marketing director, commented: “Our homes at L&Q at Ridgeway Views have always proven to be popular with a real mix of buyers; Mill Hill is a desirable location for those wanting a quick commute into central London, whilst enjoying the picturesque views of the surrounding landscapes.

“The final launch of Shared Ownership apartments at this development marks an exciting opportunity for hopeful homeowners to purchase a home in north London through the affordable scheme.”

The new two bedroom show home located in Lightbown House has been designed by Dapa Interiors, to create a “trendy” space for first time buyers to draw inspiration from. The apartment features artwork from local North London artist, Angela Britton, showcasing her contemporary and minimalist style.

Homes feature open plan layouts, offering a contemporary interior space with the flexibility needed for modern living. Kitchens are fitted with fully integrated appliances, durable oak effect flooring, and stylish downlighting. Each home is complete with a private outdoor balcony or terrace, giving residents picturesque views of the green surroundings.

Once complete, residents at L&Q at Ridgeway Views will have access to a wide range of amenities in their new micro-neighbourhood, including a dedicated 24-hour concierge, gym, parking, and well-maintained communal gardens.

With communal bike storage available, residents can enjoy a ride through the countryside, or, as homes are pet-friendly, enjoy a long dog walk to Mill Hill Viewpoint, where homeowners can experience 180-degree views of the city.

Nearby Mill Hill East Underground station is served by the Northern Line and offers direct links to London Euston in 21 minutes. Slightly further afield, Mill Hill Broadway offers direct train services to central hubs such as Farringdon in 28 minutes and London Blackfriars in just over 30 minutes.

For those looking to enjoy a shopping spree, Brent Cross is less than a 15-minute drive away, and is set to double in size as part of a £1.4bn redevelopment. This project will see 150 new shops, more than 40 new restaurants, a luxury cinema and a new Riverside Park, as well as a “jam-packed” events calendar that includes the Spring Festival 2023.
