Belmont @ Home Sponsors the Shirley Beer and Cider Festival
The highly anticipated Shirley Charity Beer and Cider Festival is known for bringing people together from all walks of life to support local charities and lend a helping hand to those in need. This year, the festival has received sponsorship from Belmont @ Home, the Solihull specialist home care provider.
Lisa Cox, an enthusiastic Administrator and Customer Relations Assistant at Belmont @ Home, eagerly volunteered her time to assist with setting up the festival and helping in the Cider Bar. Passionate about giving back to the community she was thrilled to be a part of this fun charitable event.
The festival organisers welcomed her with open arms, grateful for her willingness to help. With a bright smile on her face, Lisa joined a team of dedicated volunteers who were busy transforming the venue into a haven of merriment and joy.
Her main responsibility was to assist in setting up the marquee bar areas, where the heart and soul of the festival would come alive. Together with a group of enthusiastic volunteers, Lisa worked diligently to ensure that the bars were well stocked, the taps were flowing smoothly, and the ambiance was nothing short of captivating.
Throughout the day, Lisa found herself surrounded by the hum of excitement and the aroma of anticipation. Local breweries and cider producers arrived with their finest creations, eager to showcase their craftsmanship to the festival-goers. The marquee was gradually transformed into a lively hub of tantalizing beverages and cheerful chatter.
As Lisa arranged barrels and tapped kegs, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride. Belmont @ Home’s sponsorship had made a significant impact on the festival’s success, enabling them to raise even more funds for the Shirley Round Table charitable trust and its sister group, Shirley Ladies Circle. It was a testament to the power of collaboration and community spirit.
None of this would have been possible without Andrea Vinten, Head of Communications at Belmont Healthcare. Andrea’s work has been instrumental in securing the sponsorship for the Shirley Charity Beer and Cider Festival. Working tirelessly behind the scenes with the festival organisers, Andrea’s efforts finally paid off after more than a year of negotiations. Her dedication and persistence have not only contributed to the success of the festival but also strengthened Belmont Healthcare’s commitment to supporting local communities.
Lisa Cox and the other volunteers departed with a sense of fulfilment, knowing that their contributions had made a difference in the lives of countless individuals. The legacy of Belmont @ Home’s sponsorship and the dedication of the festival’s organisers and volunteers would continue to shine brightly, weaving together the threads of compassion and camaraderie in the lovely town of Shirley.
