Holden Group sponsors Norfolk County Cricket Club
A sponsorship deal has been announced between Holden Kia and Norfolk County Cricket Club.
Norfolk County Cricket Club was founded in 1827 and soon became known as “second only to the Marylebone club”. The club is very proud of its heritage.
The sponsorship agreement with Holden Kia comes just as the cricket season gets underway with Norfolk CCC due to host Cheshire at Manor Park for the start of the NCCA Trophy fixtures this weekend.
Darren Anderson, Holden Kia General Manager, said: “The Holden Group has a history in the local area that dates back almost as far as Norfolk County Cricket Club does. It’s important to us to support our local community and as Kia is such a strong supporter of cricket on a national level, it seemed like a perfect fit for us to support our local county club.”
Norfolk CCC Chairman, Mike Hanby, said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Holden Kia as official sponsors of the club and are very grateful for their financial backing. Their support will contribute towards the development of the county cricket club helping to create a pathway for our younger players into the first class game and beyond.”
