Belmont Home Care Team Volunteered at Knowle Fun Run!
The Belmont @ Home team stepped up, or should we say sprinted up, to the challenge of being road closure marshals for the much loved Knowle Fun Run that took place on Sunday, 21st May.
As one of the most significant local events in the community, the Fun Run brought people together to raise funds for remarkable causes. The Belmont @ Home team members ensured that all the runners participating in the 10k, 5k, and kids’ 400m race could navigate the course safely without worrying about traffic.
True to their daily commitment to making a difference in people’s lives, the team was determined to give back to the community. Their volunteering at the Knowle Fun Run was an example of this dedication. Without the help of such committed volunteers, the run would not have been able to proceed as smoothly as it did.
Sam Anderson, Manager at Belmont @ Home Midlands, commented on their involvement: “Volunteering is a fantastic way to contribute to the community and make a positive impact. We were proud to set a good example by marshalling the road closures at the Knowle Fun Run. We cheered everyone on with great enthusiasm!”

Unlike a traditional home care service; the Belmont at Home service offers a more bespoke and tailored service to meet the needs and requirements of the customer. From personal care, organisation of social activities, attending to daily admin, housekeeping and preparing meals, or acting as chaperone to appointments, the service is as focused as the customer wants it to be.
The main benefit of the service are the skills and knowledge derived from its specialist elderly and dementia care homes, which means Belmont at Home is able to offer specialised support to people living with Dementia, Parkinson’s or cancer, as well as those requiring care after a hospital admission.
