Bookings open and recruitment underway for The Tynemouth Castle Inn
An iconic Tyneside venue will welcome its first guests for nearly three years this Autumn, as The Inn Collection Group opens bookings for The Tynemouth Castle Inn.
Formerly The Park Hotel, the 90-year-old venue is currently undergoing major refurbishment by the Newcastle-based pub with rooms operator, who acquired the site back in April 2021.
Expected to be completed in September, The Tynemouth Castle Inn is accepting bookings for stays from October 1st onwards, with its owners eager to start hosting guests following a multimillion-pound redevelopment project.
Converting the venue from its previous hotel-style offering, The Tynemouth Castle Inn is undergoing a total transformation which once complete, will create a welcoming pub with 72 renovated bedrooms available for a seaside getaway.
The pub side of the business will be open all day, every day and will serve delicious food and well-kept drinks, starting with breakfast in the morning and through to a menu packed with pub classics throughout the day, up to 9pm.
Making the most of the natural splendour afforded by the commanding position on the Grand Parade, 20 of the rooms will boast their own terrace or balcony, whilst a total of 57 afford a coastal view.
Rooms director at The Inn Collection Group Kate Bentley said: “We know that there is a lot of interest in The Tynemouth Castle Inn and people are eager to see it reopen, so we’re delighted to have opened bookings for its first stays.
“We’re creating something that we’re confident people are going to love, whether they are visitors staying with us or just coming to join us for food or drinks and we can’t wait until the site is back to welcoming people through its doors.”
