26 enables digital transformation for CIPD with a new website
Digital agency, 26, has this week launched a new website for the CIPD, the professional body for HR and people development.
26, part of MSQ, was appointed by the CIPD in early 2022 to lead web transformation and digital enablement for the organisation after the agency impressed at pitch with its digital strategy, experience design and development capabilities.
The website launch follows an extensive 18-month project to overhaul the organisation’s digital maturity and experience to better serve existing and new users, as well as to drive collaboration, efficiency, and effectiveness amongst core business teams.
The website, which is built on Optimizely’s Digital Experience Platform (DXP), provides a strong and flexible foundation and technology stack to support CIPD’s digital transformation journey.
Jenny Gowans, director of research, policy and content at CIPD, said: “Partnering with 26 has enabled CIPD to make a seismic shift in digital maturity. 26 were able to understand the complexities of our organisation, work with us to create a multi-year vision and define a programme for achieving it.”
CIPD chief executive, Peter Cheese, adds: “Our new website is a huge first step in providing a more powerful, clear and engaging window for all that we do - not only for our members but for the millions of people that visit our website every year. It will make a demonstrable difference in how we connect and engage with all of our customers.”
Adam Powers, chief experience officer at 26, also added: “We recognised early on that this project was so much more than a re-platforming engagement and we are delighted to be CIPD’s partner in this digital journey.
“Underpinning our own human-centric efforts is the organisation’s core purpose, creating a world of work that creates value for everyone. I believe this shows clearly what we’ve created together so far and will only increase in the forthcoming phases.”
