Solihull Business Community Tees Off for Belmont Healthcare's Annual Charity Golf Day
The Solihull business community joined forces in the name of philanthropy at the Belmont Healthcare Annual Charity Golf Day held at the scenic Shirley Golf Club. It was an action-packed day, filled with camaraderie, networking, and healthy competition, all in the spirit of giving.
The golfing community was alive with enthusiasm and optimism as they rallied to make the charity event a grand success. The victorious player was Alex Footman from business development company Stephen Alexander, along with his esteemed guests Adam Cooksley from Navigate Comm Finance, and James Morris and Steve Price from Airways FM.
“I’m thrilled to have won but the real victory is in being part of this great cause,” said Alex. “It’s a testament to what we can achieve when we work together. We’re already looking forward to next year!”
This year, the beneficiaries of the proceeds raised from the event will be Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. The final figure is yet to be confirm but is hoped to be more than the £2500 raised during last years event. True to the spirit of giving, the honour of selecting the charity beneficiaries for 2024 will be given to this year’s winners.
The event was made possible by the generous contributions of Shirley Golf Club, with their incredible hospitality, and sponsors including Vinay Patel of PredicAire®, Tom O’Neill of FaultFixers, and Neil Pownall from Sunrise Facilities Management.
Andrea Vinten, Head of Communications at Belmont Healthcare, expressed her gratitude, saying, “We would like to express our immense gratitude to the companies who donated raffle prizes, individuals who made prize donations, our sponsors and Shirley Golf Club. Their support made this event not only possible, but also a memorable day filled with fun, food, and networking. On behalf of Belmont Healthcare, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all who participated and contributed.”
The Belmont Healthcare Annual Charity Golf Day is more than just a golfing tournament; it is an example of how a community can come together, fostering business relationships and working towards a shared cause, highlighting the strong spirit of giving within the Solihull business community.
