TruDomes unveils first permanent showdome at official launch event
British dome manufacturer, TruDomes, revealed its first permanent showdome to an audience from the world of tourism, glamping and manufacturing during an official launch event at the company’s head office in Nuneaton. The show dome was officially unveiled with help from popular glampsite Youtubers, Vicki and Bryan from Tractors & Cream, attending as special guests. Glamping businesses were treated to a tour taking in the market-leading material quality and examples of the many bespoke upgrades which are characteristic features of TruDomes’ approach to dome design and manufacture.
TruDomes Director, Kelda Bassett, said:
“We really enjoyed welcoming guests to our show dome launch and their feedback was very encouraging. TruDomes have appeared at many glamping trade shows over the years as they provide the opportunity to meet glampsite owners and designers to share ideas, discuss their aspirations and showcase our qualities. With the launch of our show dome, we are now able to do the same at our head office with appointments to view available every weekday.”
TruDomes Sales Manager, Louise Stone, said:
“Having a permanent show dome here will be hugely beneficial. Stepping inside our domes and seeing them up close is the best way to appreciate TruDomes’ investment in all-weather performance, durability and manufacturing quality – for example, the strength of our aircraft-grade aluminium frames and the hard-wearing qualities of 650 g/m² lacquered PVC covers with triple-layered insulation. We’ve also incorporated some of our most popular upgrades into the show dome, including the wood-burning stove and the portholes for pets which were a frequent talking point at our launch event.”
Having grown its business supplying glamping sites throughout the UK, TruDomes has expanded into continental Europe and launched a Utah-based North American operation. Earlier this month, the company signed a distribution agreement with Glamping Japan to establish a new sales network in East Asia.
