New Japanese-Brazilian Fusion Restaurant, SakkuSamba, Opens At The Broadway Bradford

SakkuSamba, which opens its doors to the public for the very first time today, is set to bring a taste of Japanese-Brazilian cuisine to Bradford.

The restaurant is the second of its kind in the UK after the concept first launched in central Manchester last year.

Similarly to its Manchester counterpart, this new venue, located in The Broadway Shopping Centre, spans two floors, possesses 130 seats, and boasts a breathtaking interior.

Downstairs, guests will find a unique coffee shop serving up brightly coloured Matcha and Beetroot lattes as well as cold drinks, sandwiches and cakes between 7:30AM - 6:30PM daily.

Upstairs in the main restaurant is where SakkuSamba’s immersive dining concept comes to life.

The impressive venue is adorned with cascading Sakura trees and dimly lit with hues of pink and purple which gives a romantic, exclusive feel to the space.

SAKKUSAMBA’s dining concept is just as unique as its appearance. With the use of tablet technology, guests can order unlimited tapas style plates for a set price and the extensive menu holds over 150 varied Japanese-Brazilian dishes.

From Brazilian Picanha and Pork Belly to Japanese Hosomaki and Fresh Sashimi, the unique menu celebrates the fusion of these two cultures.

You’ll see nods to both cultures woven throughout the cocktail menu too with additions such as classic Brazilian Caipirinhas and Japanese Iced Tea as well as an extensive mocktail selection.

This isn’t owner, Zac Issak’s, first foray into the restaurant scene as the group behind this new venue are also responsible for popular brands such as Japanese restaurant, SAKKU, and Brazilian rodizio restaurant, Estabulo, with sites across the UK.

On this new opening, group CEO Zac Issak said, “SakkuSamba is all about creating an incredible dining experience. From the moment guests walk through the doors, to the minute they leave they’ll be blown away by our stunning decor, unique cocktails, beautiful menu and high end service.”

He continued, “We set out to bring something completely different to Bradford, and that’s exactly what we’ve done here. SakkuSamba is set to become the go-to place to dine in this city.”

Last night’s VIP launch evening saw the restaurant make its mark at The Broadway with DJ’s, dancers and a lively, bustling restaurant. SAKKUSAMBA opens its doors to the public for the first time from 12PM today and bookings can be made online now.
