New food hall brings over a dozen global cuisines to Battersea Power Station

The second food hall by Arcade, which follows the successful opening of Arcade Centre Point on Tottenham Court Road, will open in the heart of the restored Battersea Power Station in July.

The venue will have seating for 500, two bars, three restaurants, and a private dining room. Guests will experience 13 different cuisines, made up of new brands such as Phed Power fiery stir fries and salads from Isan, Thailand, Siu SiuCantonese comfort food inspired by the roast meat restaurants of Hong Kong and Leccami Gelato; authentic Italian gelato.

Existing brands such as Hero Indian fast food, Sushi Kamon Japanese sushi, Tipan Tapan Nepali street food and Shatta & Toum Middle Eastern shawarma kitchen will form part of the lineup of global cuisines on the menu.

The new food hall will also have two bars; Tap Room and ABC Bar. Tap Room will showcase a wall of 32 taps, serving cocktails using locally sourced ingredients and a host of beers from international and South London breweries. ABC Bar, inspired by classic cocktail culture, will offer a concise menu of the world’s most famous cocktails.

In addition to the food hall, Arcade will house three restaurants, Manna; a US-style smash burger and fried chicken joint, the brand’s first restaurant, following its successful launch at Arcade Centre Point.

Manna will serve a host of new dishes exclusive to Battersea Power Station, including the Hot Bonnet Fish Filay, fried fish tail topped with scotch bonnet sauce, pikliz and lettuce sat in a Manna brioche bun, and the Chicken Block Burger, fried crispy chicken topped with red pepper ketchup, a hash brown, cheese, caesar aioli and lettuce.

Feroz Gajia, founder of Manna, commented: “The core of Manna is simplicity. Simple, delicious burgers and fried chicken. The dishes feel like something you have had before, they are comforting, never disappointing. We have spent time going through each ingredient in every dish, testing every possible combination to achieve deliciousness.”

Completing the lineup of restaurants are Solis; a new grilled chicken and steak brand by the pair behind TĀ TĀ Eatery Ana Gonçalves and Zijun Meng, as well as BAO, the cult Taiwanese brand.

Cokey Sulkin, COO of Arcade, added: “I’m thrilled to be leading the teams at Arcade Centre Point and Arcade Battersea. We aim to create a drinking and dining destination to attract Londoners and international guests alike via global cuisines and seamless technology in the historic Power Station”.
