Vietnamese restaurant rolls out flagship London venue
The healthy salad roll bar Kaleido Rolls is opening a flagship restaurant at 10 Kingly Street on Tuesday 27 June. The site will feature the brand’s first on-site rolling station for visitors to see the making of the innovative rice paper salad rolls that have taken London by storm. The opening at 10 Kingly Street marks the next chapter in Kaleido Rolls’ success story.
The flagship is located on Kingly Street and the gateway to Kingly Court, Carnaby’s unique food hub. The brand’s first unit a 100 sq ft kiosk on 1 Kingly Street – quickly became a fan favourite in the area, with queues lining down the street on a daily basis and a contract that kept being renewed to keep the pop-up rolling.
In high demand across London and now with the opening of its brand new permanent location, the 270 sq ft space will have tables inside and outside for an alfresco dining experience.
Large windows overlooking Kingly Street allow the space to fill with natural light, as well as spotlight the brand’s first ever on-site rolling station where the rice paper salad rolls are being prepared fresh in the morning and throughout the day, providing an enthralling feature to eaters-in and passers-by.
Customers are also able to choose between four freshly made dip flavours to accompany their rolls: peanut, tahini, sweet chilli and lemon. Made fresh from scratch everyday using natural ingredients, the rolls are also low in calories, ranging between 100 kcal and 194 kcal per roll, making them a guilt-free lunch time indulgence.
Co-founder Laura Mimoun says: “Opening the doors and upsizing to a brand new permanent location where it all started is an absolute dream come true and to have it join the Kingly Court collective makes this milestone even more special.
“We are looking forward to welcoming our existing customers and new friends to experience our rolls that are healthy like a salad, convenient like a sandwich and playful like sushi the unexpected yet perfect way to enjoy your daily greens.”
Kaleido Rolls was founded in 2017 by Laura Mimoun who wanted to shake up the grab-and-go market by reinventing eating salad in a fun and unique way. Having attracted a loyal customer base from the get-go due to its one of a kind concept, Kaleido Rolls currently has locations in Harrods, St Pancras, Canary Wharf and St Paul’s in London as well as a newly opened branch in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
