Top pharma digital insights consultant elected to BHBIA board

Anni Neumann, a pharmaceutical digital insights consultant with over ten years’ industry experience, including almost seven years at leading digital insights consultancy Creation Healthcare, has been elected to the board of the British Healthcare Business Intelligence Association (BHBIA).

As an organisation, the BHBIA works to support those working in healthcare market research and data analytics by driving best practice in insight generation. This includes encouraging the highest levels of legal and ethical standards, facilitating professional development and networking and inspiring thinking and discussion amongst the healthcare business intelligence community.

Anni’s election followed a competitive process in which the BHBIA searched for candidates with ideas about how the association could improve the events it runs, the benefits offered to members, and who are prepared to play a ‘hands-on’ role in making things happen.

Anni’s work with Creation Healthcare sees her advise pharmaceutical clients on how best to utilise online data to better understand the real-life experiences, conversations and perceptions of patients and clinicians.

Her varied career in the pharmaceutical sector has seen her play a part in a range of global efforts to support the relationship between the pharma industry and healthcare. In addition, Anni has expertise in enabling cross functional pharmaceutical teams to add value to their health stakeholder communities.

As part of her new role, Anni will be expected to attend monthly board meetings and to act as a public representative of the BHBIA at its annual conference, winter seminar, and spring and summer events.

Commentating on her election to the BHBIA Board, Anni said:

“I’m delighted to have been elected to the BHBIA Board. It’s a real privilege.

“I’m particularly excited to work with the BHBIA to deliver on its goal of becoming the leading industry association for thought leadership, professional development and the establishment of ethical standards among the UK’s business healthcare intelligence community.

“The BHBIA plays a critical role in empowering the UK’s healthcare business intelligence community to deliver excellence with integrity, and I can’t wait to get started.”
