West Yorkshire generator specialist expands with eight-figure HSBC support
A West Yorkshire based generator hire company is expanding across the UK with support from HSBC UK.
Generator Power, headquartered in Normanton, is utilising an eight-figure funding package from HSBC UK to increase its product range.
This investment will include the purchase of sustainable technologies such as hybrid generators and battery storage units. As a result of the HSBC UK funded expansion, Generator Power is anticipating the creation of new jobs and forecasting a further increase in turnover over the next 12 months.
The increase in capacity will meet the rising demand from customers across multiple sectors, which include critical national infrastructure customers, hospitals, telecoms, utilities and retail.
Steve Cardwell, managing director of Generator Power, commented: “We’re committed to delivering the best and most reliable service possible to our customers, and with this investment, we will be able to continue doing so on a greater scale.
“It’s fantastic to use this funding to increase our range of sustainable solutions and we look forward to introducing technologies to customers across the UK over the coming months.”
Mark Watson, global relationship director at HSBC UK, added: “Generator Power is a leader in its sector for good reason and has been a trusted partner for multiple UK businesses over many years.
“We’re delighted that funding will be used to support the company’s expansion, as it services more infrastructure, construction and events clients over the coming years.”
Generator Power, established in 1997, is one of the UK’s largest generator hire companies, offering rental services for projects with power requirements from 20kVA to 2000kVA. The business also provides services including emergency response, project management, telemetry, training and fuel management. This deal was advised by Mazars Accountants.
