Leeds city centre dining destination announces five new street food vendors
A “mouth-watering” new street food line-up has arrived at Trinity Kitchen, where shoppers can tuck into a range of dishes from Alley Cats Leeds, The Cheesy Chip Shop, Luigi Street Food, Dog Almighty and Yoi Fried Chicken.
The five new arrivals are now available to try at Trinity Kitchen for the next eight weeks, setting up shop within a converted VW Camper Van, a Citroen H van, a horse trailer, shipping container, and a J7 van. Alley Cats Leeds specialises in “big, bold American flavours”, serving up American-inspired burgers, fries and sides.
Meanwhile, cheese fans can get their fix at the Cheesy Chip Shop. Developed by the team behind the Cheesy Living Co. deli in Leeds city centre, the menu includes sauces, cheese and toppings, from Buffalo sauce and blue cheese to curry sauce, gouda and mango chutney. Sides include mac ‘n’ cheese bites, jalapeño poppers and halloumi fries.
Back after popular demand, Luigi Street Food Italiano is returning with its famous fried, folded calzone-style pizzas with a range of fillings, as well as cheese and tomato fried risotto balls.
Dog Almighty is also returning, dishing up a selection of artisan hot dogs and vegan dogs, all handmade in Yorkshire and loaded with a variety of homemade and home-smoked toppings and dirty fries.
Pan-Asian-inspired Yoi Fried Chicken is serving up fiery flavours with chicken baos and burgers, topped with an array of sauces such as their creamy peanut satay and Katsu curry mayo.
Josie Towning, food and beverage manager at Trinity Leeds, commented: “Trinity Kitchen has a fantastic mix of street food vendors, from firm favourites to brand new ventures, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a cheese fix or an all-American lunch, we’ve got you covered this summer at Trinity Kitchen.”
The new street food vendors are trading alongside permanent eateries including Archie’s, Pho, Rola Wala, Tortilla, Pizzaluxe and Doner Shack.
