London residential developer announces multi-million pound Samsung partnership

Residential developer, London Land Group, has announced a multi-million pound innovation partnership that will see Samsung Electronics UK supply digital appliances to all of London Land Group’s current and future developments.

The partnership will initially see London Land Group’s flagship development, The Waterfront Poole, with 291 apartments fitted out as fully connected homes, offering residents the ability to connect and control all their smart devices through Samsung’s SmartThings platform.

The appliances, including ovens, hobs, fridge freezers, dishwashers and washing machines, will be purchased using Samsung Capital to fund the kit as well as on-going maintenance.

In addition, The Waterfront’s two communal club lounges with full kitchen and dining facilities will also feature Samsung’s state-of-the-art products, such as the Samsung Smart Oven with Dual Cook Flex and Air Fry.

Working with a range of partners, London Land Group aims to create long-term value while leaving a lasting legacy, leveraging expertise across acquisition, investment, development and construction.

Mario Luca Balducci, London Land co-founder and chief executive of London Land Group, commented: “The demand for connected living is increasing, with residents prioritising convenience, personalisation and sustainability.
