‘Premium’ social entertainment specialist Lane7 announces expansion into London

Lane7, a provider of ‘premium’ social entertainment experiences, has announced its highly anticipated expansion into London, the “leading global city for creativity, entertainment, and nightlife”.

Since opening in Newcastle 10 years ago, Lane7 has successfully expanded across 13 more venues, in cities such as Bristol, Edinburgh and Sheffield. It has fast become a well-recognised night-time experience, welcoming over 2 million guests per year, and is the largest brand in the ‘competitive socialising’ sector.

Tim Wilks, owner, and founder of Lane7, commented: “London has always been a destination for us; however, we’ve waited a long time to ensure we found the right site. We didn’t want to undersell ourselves, or the Lane7 experience. After many years of looking, we have finally found the right site in London Victoria.

“The building has 30 metres of glass frontage over two elevations and spans two floors, meaning it’ll be hard to miss our first arrival in the city. Finding such a premium site is not only a momentous occasion for us, but for the emerging market of social entertainment too.”

Lane7’s London Victoria site will feature boutique bowling lanes over several floors, and an 18-hole “Instagram worthy” golf course. Alongside this will be London based burger eatery Patty&Bun. The new site will also feature a Lane7-curated drinks menu designed especially for the venue.

Additionally, the site will also offer a bespoke basement attraction. This will be a new pre-bookable concept the city has yet to see, a secret only Victoria has to offer. Lane7 is expanding rapidly, with a second 28,000 sq ft site in Birmingham’s Bullring coming soon.
