West Yorkshire manufacturer predicts highest ever turnover amid record growth
Wakefield based granite and quartz worktop supplier, Roann Limited, has announced its achievement of record manufacturing success rates, propelling the company towards a predicted turnover of £10m this year, its highest ever.
Through investment in advanced manufacturing equipment, the lead time from template to installation has been significantly reduced, allowing the company to increase its efficiency and produce a greater number of worktops each year.
Between January 1 and July 17 2023, the company has successfully manufactured 5,079 individual worktops, ranging from large commercial projects with the country’s top housebuilders, to smaller local projects.
Projects to note include C-Field, a London based project worth £110k, which achieved 100 per cent accuracy on template and installation and 100 per cent accuracy on manufacturing.
Another notable project is Project FF&E and Torsion Developments, a Leeds based project worth £137k, which achieved 97.92 per cent accuracy on template and installation and 98.62 per cent accuracy on manufacturing.
Finally, Midgard, a Reading based project worth £600k, and one of Roann Limited’s largest orders to date, achieved 98.11 per cent accuracy on template and installation and 99.37 per cent accuracy on manufacturing.
These remarkable success rates have surpassed all previous milestones and are proving to be the driving force behind the business’ progress, as it enhances customer satisfaction, retention, and profitability. In 2022, Roann Limited reported a record year with a 15 per cent increase in sales year-on-year and a sales figure totalling over £8.3m.
As the company gears up to achieve its highest turnover yet this year, it will continue to invest in “cutting-edge” technology and the professional learning and development of its workforce to maintain its position at the forefront of the worktop manufacturing landscape.
As the business continues to grow, so too does its commitment to benefitting both the environment and its customers. Earlier this year, Roann Limited replaced all worktop packaging from single use plastic, to fully recyclable packaging, as part of its Carbon Reduction Plan with the aim to achieve net-zero emissions by 2040.
Scott Wharton, operations director at Roann Limited, commented: “We’re so proud of our recent manufacturing success rates and can’t wait to improve them even further. They are testament to the company’s commitment to excellence and its ability to meet the evolving demands of the market.”
