Pure Bliss: 21 Show-Stopping Years
Nestled just a stone’s throw from the calming coastline of Seaburn beach, Pure Bliss is a tranquil haven which quickly became one of the most popular salons in the region when it opened in 2002.
The beauty industry is big business, and the award-winning salon has stayed ahead of the game and on-trend within the fast-moving industry with their Founder and Spa Director Lisa Seferi firmly at the helm.
Renowned in the industry for their innovative and luxurious range of treatments, and working with DECLEOR for over 20 years, the salon recently partnered with Guinot and the team achieved Guinot Crown Salon recognition in January 2023. The prestigious accolade is a true testament to the business and recognises the salon and staff as being truly the best at what they do within the beauty industry.
The salon is now celebrating 21 show-stopping years of growth and have decided it’s only right that their team receive their own star treatment as they celebrate the celebratory milestone.
Lisa said:
“The team are the absolute backbone of the business, our success is built around building client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
As we celebrate our 21st year in business we thought that our dedicated team deserved a bit of star treatment so we took the decision to invest in a range of staff incentives.
We all enjoyed a star-studded experience with VIP hospitality at the Stadium of Light when Beyoncé hit the city and we are delighted to have now become corporate club members at the Sunderland Empire.
The theatre is a gem in the city and as a business heavily rooted in Sunderland we are delighted to support the exciting 1907 Corporate Club. The team have already benefited from seeing some fabulous shows and we even had a field trip out and a backstage tour – to say the girls were excited is an understatement!“
The 1907 Corporate Club is a yearly membership scheme giving businesses access to a host of key benefits including generous ticket allocations, hospitality, company logo inclusion on various platforms and ad hoc staff ticket offers.
Paula Mitchell, Sales and Development Manager, Sunderland Empire said:
“We are delighted to welcome Pure Bliss to our 1907 Corporate Club, it’s great to find local businesses that share our passion for live theatre. We had a great morning showing the team around the Empire recently, they were just as enthusiastic as us and we look forward to welcoming them over the year to some fabulous shows at the theatre.
Another great aspect with this partnership is that our visiting cast will also benefit as we will be sharing information about the beautiful salon to them in our welcome packs. Cast and crew work extremely hard – sometimes with two shows a day, so it’s great that they can treat themselves to treatments at this gorgeous salon while they are visiting Sunderland.
Our sponsorship opportunities offer first-class benefits, with such huge upcoming productions, such as Disney’s Aladdin and Pretty Woman, it’s the perfect time to create mutually beneficial collaborations with local businesses and aligning them with our highly engaged audience from across the region.“
The ethos at Pure Bliss is to offer exceptional and high-end service in a relaxed and non-pretentious environment. Offering an array of treatments from the relaxing NEOM and Aromatherapy Associates treatments to the most advanced medical based treatments, Environ, Omnilux light therapy, C.A.C.I. and Microdermabrasion, Guniot, Hydrofacial, IPL, 3D Lipo and Dermaforce. Services will also expand in September 2023 with the launch of The Medi Spa @ Pure Bliss, offering anti-wrinkle injections, skin boosters and a range of aesthetic treatments.
Lisa Seferi, Spa Director at Pure Bliss said:
“My career started in 5-star hotels and luxury cruise liners. My previous roles include The Savoy Group where I worked for The Berkeley Hotel, the embodiment of luxury, nestled amongst London’s elite. This is the level of service I embed in our team of now 25 staff; we want clients to have the best treatment and service they’ve ever had.”
